Darumas are amulets of Buddhist origin that represent the reward for perseverance.

Legend has it that when you make a wish, you must paint the pupil of one eye. Once painted, place it in a visible place and when your wish is granted, paint the other eye as a token of gratitude.

The small size of this figurine makes it perfect for small altars or even as a pendant to carry in your pocket. Made in Japan.
