Thali tray

This small compartmentalized metal tray is known as a thali, which in Hindi translates as a plate, although it is also the generic word to define a typical Indian dish with various foods served each in its compartment.

This type of dishes, simpler and with only 3 or 4 divisions, are very common in workers’ restaurants.
