Inox plate

Indian families are large so that their kitchens are always filled with a wide variety of utensils, containers and dishes. Unlike most countries, people in India rarely eat on ceramic plates, either because the material has traditionally been considered impure (being products made of clay) or because they are less hygienic and durable.

Metal plates are sold in a multitude of shapes and sizes and often, like this one, have geometric patterns engraved on the base.
