Mexican Stella Candle – Veladora

12,00

A “veladora” is a traditional Mexican devotional candle, often lit for prayer, rituals, or to invoke protection and guidance. This one is crafted from high-quality paraffin and infused with a gentle fragrance, making it suitable both for devotion and ritual use.

It comes in four different versions: two of Christian origin — the Virgin of Guadalupe, symbol of faith and protection and one of the most venerated figures in Mexico, and the Sacred Heart of Jesus, associated with mercy, hope, and spiritual strength — and two linked to syncretic folk beliefs not recognized by the Catholic Church: the Mano Poderosa (“Powerful Hand”), invoked for support in times of difficulty, and Jesús Malverde, known as the “saint of the dispossessed”, believed to grant favors and protection in troubled situations.

Each candle includes a special prayer on the back to accompany the intentions of the person who lights it.
