Small tin heart – Silver

Mexican tin hearts, also called milagritos or ex votos, are a typical Oaxacan handicraft that originated in colonial times and is still handed down from father to son.

The work is laborious: once the brass is cut, it is shaped and embossed, and finally lacquer and enamel are applied to achieve vivid colours.
