Mexican tin hearts, also called milagritos or ex votos, are a typical handicraft that has its origins in colonial times. It is a laborious work that is done entirely by hand, first cutting the tin plates then embossing and painting.
The heart represents love and gratitude, so this is a gift to your lover or to say thank you to family and friends. As it has a small magnet on the back, it’s indicated for metal surfaces, although it can also be placed on a wall using putty or any adhesive material.
As this is an artisanal product, the colour of the product may be slightly different from the image on the website. Handmade by master craftsmen in San Miguel de Allende.
