And also the milagritos have a long history in Mexico as a way to show your devotion or gratitude to a saint for a favour they’ve done for you.

This gorgeous hand-painted wooden hand, with all kinds of milagritos attached to it, is made in San Miguel de Allende and is meant to be placed at the entrance of the house to keep it safe and sound.
