The toran or banbandhanwar is a traditional decorative element in India where it is generally used to decorate windows and the front door of the house. The word toran derives from the word torana, which in Sanskrit means to pass. In ancient times, torans were hung at the main entrance of houses and temples to attract and appease the divine energies, especially those of Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth.

This particular model is meant to welcome visitors. Place it at the front door of your home or business to bring good energy.
